After working for many years in London, I realised that I wanted a complete change of career. This led me to decide to follow my dream of setting up my own business in wedding make-up and the beauty therapy followed shortly after. As well as this venture, I work freelance for other make-up and face painting teams.
Qualifications
Having had additional training over the past four and a half years, with a top make-up artist, this has enabled me to progress even further into the make-up world. I plan to complete various masterclasses throughout the year to keep up to date with current looks and new techniques.
Prior and during this period I trained at a Private Beauty School, gaining a dipoloma in: Cosmetic make-up E.S.O.B.D
I later went onto train and gain my VTCT (NVQ 3) qualification in Make-up Artisty & Health & Safety at the well known and established Brentwood Academy for Health & Beauty
I have fully qualified and gained recognised dipolmas in manicure/pedicure & waxing treatments, as well as eyelash/brow tinting/perming at various beauty schools in the South East. Early in 2007, I trained to gain my spray tanning diploma so I could offer this as a mobile service to my clients. To achieve this, I returned to Brentwood Academy for Health & Beauty
Early in 2008 I completed training in theatrical, media, tv and casualty make-up with a well known and established leading lady in make-up where I gained so many valuable skills and tips! Recently, I was working my make-up skills for television on behalf of Eurosport
I have my VTCT (NVQ 3) qualification in dressing long hair for Bridal and Special Occasions acheived at a private beauty school in Kent and in adition to this I am also a MAC Pro member.
To cater for more of my 'younger' clients I posess a face painting diploma Levels 1 and 2 with 'Follies Face painting and Body art School' who are fantastic at what they do and at teaching! In early 2008, I worked with Follies to provide services to the O2 Arena. I have also worked alongside Cadburys and the National Trust. Photos of my previous work are available upon request.
